DUALITI Interactive designs and develops cutting-edge business information systems that combine high usability and intelligent decision making to achieve the most effective outcomes for our partners. Our success hinges on addressing three important questions that guide us through every project:
1) Why do individuals want to engage with others online?
2) What is the best technological framework to execute this interaction?, and
3) How can we ensure that all partners benefit from that engagement?
Our development team masters a broad spectrum of SQL and NonSQL software tools for efficient and secure large-scale and real-time data management, as well as the most powerful client server technologies available. Working with many of the latest platforms such as AgularJS, Meteor and Node.js, DUALITI creates robust and dynamic systems that make meaningful use of Big Data and intelligently harness the power of the web.
The 3rd Friday of March marks a significant date for the medical community (and for the many thousands waiting to join in). “Match Day”, as it’s dubbed, is the official day medical students are placed into a medical residency program. And for the medical program leadership, it is the official start date of the next yearlong recruitment cycle. Medical Residency Program Managers must review thousands of inbound applications. They endure the daunting administrative task of coordinating the process of candidate selection from inviting candidates for interviews to scheduling interview dates. Come mid-September, they are over burdened with the complex task of trying to optimally fill in the interview dates, while accommodating the time constraints of their prime candidates. At the same time, the residency applicants must coordinate their travel plans across various competing medical programs, which for many are distributed all around the country.
The 3rdFriday platform reengineers the recruitment process for managers and candidates alike, saving users time, money and frustration. The visually simple program features applicant self-scheduling and automated communications. Using our proprietary priority scheduling algorithm, Medical Program Managers can simply optimize the mix of applicants for interviews on each specific date. Next, the software automatically alerts invitees of potential interview dates, allowing them to easily view all available time slots and self-schedule their interviews on a first-come-first-served basis - conveniently from their mobile phones.
The 3rdFriday information system is a cloud-based application that is highly secured and does not require any software installation on the hospital side. It works with all commercially available browsers, is highly interactive and intuitive. The program is designed with the primary objective of relieving the Medical Program Manager’s office from the tedious task of scheduling and re-scheduling numerous interviews. It eliminates follow-up calls and e-mails on both ends, instilling a sense of transparency and accountability into the recruitment process. The system also features an easy to read manager's dashboard that displays a visualized snapshot of performance, monitoring key performance indicators in real-time to enable instantaneous and informed decisions to be made at-a-glance.
Applicants regain control over their schedules with the ability to coordinate with program offices 24/7. They can also optimize their travel plans by blocking their visits geographically, thereby saving them time and money. Using 3rdFriday, the Residency Program Managers no longer spend time and energy playing phone tag with hundreds of candidates which they try to bring on-board for campus visits. Instead, they can focus on creating the strongest possible pool of candidates for building the very best PGY1 entering group.
